Fiery Shrimp Pasta
I Love pasta, and I love Shrimp. So throwing them together with a sauce is bound to be good right? Of course. So I made a Fiery hot shrimp Pasta.Boil angel hair pasta until al dente. Rinse in cold water to stop the cooking process and set aside (don't forget to add salt and a bit of olive oil to the water). So first I sliced one shallot and sauteed it in 2 tablespoons of olive oil until tender. Then I added a tablespoon of mince garlic and about 1 to 2 tablespoons of crush red pepper flakes (add more or less depending on how hot you like your food) and let cook for about 1 minute.
Added a can of plain tomato sauce (add more cans or less depending on the number of people you are cooking for) and a tablespoon of tomato paste, salt and black pepper. Let simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of heavy cream to sauce. Mix.
Add raw deveined shrimp to sauce. Let cook until shrimp are done.
Add pasta and mix together.
Serve and enjoy.
This is super spicy so be very careful with the amount of crushed red pepper flakes you added to this!
