36 hours in Spokane Washington

Hey guys, I hope you are all well. I am running a bit behind on my posts because life has been extremely busy. But I wanted to ensure I got my last two uploads on YouTube posted here. So here is how it went in March; 36 hours in Spokane, Washington Part 1 and 2.

It was extremely cold, but I got to eat some really good food and see the Spokane Waterfalls, which was top on my list of things to see. When I go back again, I will try to go when it is warmer weather so that I can fully enjoy all that Spokane has to offer.

Day/Road Trip to Mount Saint Helens

QUICK UPDATE

Hey all, I hope you are doing well. Quick update. I change the name of my YouTube channel from Cook Eat Enjoy to Gloriousgal Living: Food, Travel, Life. The name change reflects the evolvement of my content and stays on brand with the name. So same channel just a different name.

TRAVEL LOCALLY

So, this summer, my family and I took a few local day/road trips. We didn’t go too far, as we are still trying to be travel cautious which gives us the opportunity to explore our own backyard.

ROAD TRIP TO MOUNT SAINT HELENS

In this vlog, my family and I take a day trip/road trip to Mount Saint Helens in Washington State. It is about an hour and a half to 2-hour drive from the Portland metro area.

The views are incredible, and if you like hiking or walking, there is plenty of that.

This was a challenging trip for me because I was in a right knee brace during this time, but I didn’t let that stop me from driving on this road trip and enjoying all the new sights as we saw different angles of Mountain Saint Helens on our drive up.

I hope you enjoy our little day trip/road trip adventure to Mount Saint Helens in Washington State and inspire you to travel around your own state and surrounding areas. Until Next time remember to Cook, Eat, Enjoy Travel, Live and Repeat.

Glo On The Go: Solo Road Trip to Vegas Day 1

It is finally time to hit the road on my first Solo Road Trip to Vegas and I am so excited. I have had the wanderlust bug for some time now, but had to put things on hold like the rest of the world. But, now is the time for me to get my feet wet again and begin my Solo Road Trip Adventures with the first being this trip from the Portland, Oregon metro area to Las Vegas, Nevada by way of California.

I think I have said before that I am a gypsy, one who grew up traveling. But with raising kids and make sure my family was taken care of, I have gotten away from my passions and lost myself. Welp the kids are much bigger, self-sufficient for the most part, so it is time to go and let my wanderlust thrive and grow. Time to Solo trip and find and indulge in my passions.

Follow along as I hit the road on my first Solo Road Trip. And to keep with my journey, consider subscribing to my YouTube Channel. Also, check out my Store for some awesome gear with more to come.

Preparing for My First Solo Road Trip

I am so excited to be traveling and even more so excited to be going on my first solo road trip. Now food and travel are what I do, but with everything that has been going on, traveling and trying new restaurants and such have been put on hold, until now.

I have been toying with the idea of buying a van and converting it so that I and sometimes my kids could travel around the country and see sights we have never seen before and of course eat. But I realized that I had never been camping or even glamping. I am 100% city girl, but I am also a nomad. I traveled and moved around a lot when I was younger and even my earlier adult years. I like going to new places and exploring. And now I am at a point in my life that it is time to get back to what I love. But first a trial run.

Watch as I prepare for my solo road trip, and be sure to subscribe to my Youtube Channel so you can see how my trip turns out.

Check out my Store to get some cook apparel and supporting my small business. I appreciate you all.

Until Next Time, Remember to Cook, Eat Enjoy (Travel, Live and Repeat).
