Solo Road Trip to Vegas | Day 3 | Meeting up with my Best Friend

Hey All, welcome back to my Solo Road Trip Adventure. In this episode I finally reach my destination of Las Vegas, Nevada. Along the way, I experienced beauties both natural and man-made, some I wish I had more time to experience and explore, but now I have something to look forward to on my next solo road trip to the area.

As a summary, after staying the night in Bakersfield, California and eating a great Po Boy, I set off about 8 a.m. to reach Vegas by 1:00 p.m. to pick my Bestie up from the airport.

Along the way I stopped on the side of the road to get a distant view of the Mojave Air and Space Port in Kern County California.

Did You Know that the Mojave Desert is consider the smallest of the deserts in the United States, stretching 43,750 square miles between southeastern California and southern Nevada, with small parts also in Utah and Arizona!

The Mojave is so beautiful. I would not have expected there to be such beauty in the desert, however, it is not desolate like one would think a desert would be. But to behold such natural beauties as well as man-made wonders… more on that later.

If you would like to see how the 3rd day of my Solo Trip turned out, check out the Vlog on my YouTube Channel: Cook Eat Enjoy. And be sure to Like and Subscribe while you are there to keep up with my food and travel adventures. Also check out my Online Store for some awesome gear.

Finally making it to Las Vegas, for the second time in my life, to see my bestie that I haven’t physically been in the presence of for over 5 years was a blast, but I will get into that next time. But our first meal together was at the Still in The Mirage. The food was great.

Until Next Time, Remember to Cook, Eat, Enjoy, Travel, Live and Repeat!!!

A Week in My Life During a Wildfire Threat Vlog

Oregon has quite a few fires burning this year. In fact, I would say 2020 has probably been the worst year. Early September, those fires increased to more than 37 individual fires burning in the State, including one that was about 11 miles from my house. This video shows A week in my life During a wildfire threat vlog.

Cooking Vlog | Daughter’s Birthday Dinner | Corned Beef and Cabbage

This past Saturday, my family celebrated my oldest daughter’s 19th Birthday. All she wanted was Corned Beef and Cabbage. So, of course, I obliged her and spent the day cooking for her. I love seeing my kids smile, so I do my best to make them smile. Sometimes it doesn’t take extravagant things; sometimes it’s the little things that bring joy.

Check out the video above to see how our day went. And please like and subscribe to the channel. I do lots of cooking, trying new foods and travel.

Until next time, remember to Cook, Eat and Enjoy!!!
